Stayed here while in Chicago on business (convention) in early January 2012. Good location, close to other major hotels and Michigan avenue. Nice hotel, good location. Good: great staff, free wifi, cookies in the afternoon and decent (free) breakfast. Nice rooms! Bad: workout room has MINIMAL equipment; wifi can be weak; NOWHERE to sit next to breakfast buffet! More

I stayed here from December 21st to 24th with my husband and daughter. I really enjoyed my stay at the Amalfi Hotel Chicago. BREAKFAST: The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and included a great variety of food that included: cheese,yogurt, juice,milk,coffee,tea,bagels,toast,donuts,loafs,croissants filled with lemon filling or chocolate and plain. This hotel was really nice. The rooms are a bit small but well designed. It is an upscale hotel in a good part of the city. Good work area for a business traveler. Would definitely stay there again. More

These folks actually know your name when you walk in, extremely friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The Eurpean style breakfast buffett on EACH floor is incredible and unheard of these days. When i travel for business i always look forward to going to the Amalfi. Oh yeah, rates...reasonable. More

Was in town for four nights. A very nice hotel with courteous and friendly staff. I really liked the casualness of the breakfast buffets on each floor. Would highly recommend to anybody who wants a conveniant downtown hotel. More
