My husband and I stayed at the Old Chicago Inn last month. We're big B&B fans and found the inn while looking online. The value was amazing and the inn was within walking distance of the train, Wrigley Field and everything else. The room was spotless and had great amenities, bath robes, etc. Breakfast was included and served in a... More

Once again we found just what we were looking for. The inn is just a few steps from the Belmont stop on the Red Line (and other lines). We love it that we can hop onto the Orange line at Midway and find ourselves in the heart of Lakeview with so little trouble. And the Old Chicago Inn is relaxed... More

We had a great stay at Chicago Inn - it was clean and everyone was extremely friendly. We can't wait to go back and plan to bring our children. More

This is the place for people that care most about location and service! You are a half block from the El (red, purple, brown train lines) and 5 stops from the heart of downtown Chicago. The Lakeview area is a great home base with fun local shops and some great places to eat within five minutes walking (Ann Sathers for... More

My husband and two young kids stayed in room 2A for 3 nights in November 2011. We were not impressed. The innkeeper was quite pleasant, however had awful body odor. My husband and I both remarked on this. When he showed us to our room, I asked if he would mind turning the heat up, as it was quite cold... More

A very creepy aspect of my room was that there were very sheer curtains on my window; and the adjoining room's window was 10 feet away and directly facing mine;. If the other occupants were so inclined, they could have watched every move I made, including taking a shower. So I went out and bought a newspaper and tape to... More

The Old Chicago Inn is a very well located B&B. The decor is nice and the service is very good. While the rooms facing the street are spacious if staying in warm weather stay in an interior room as there can be alot of street noise from late bar and restaurant customers. More

We had a very nice stay at the Old Chicago Inn. It's literally just behind Wrigley Field with lots of restaurants to walk to and is very fairly priced. We had a room that was rather small -- fireplace was great, queen bed set kind of in a cutout alcove - but very comfortable. Right on the street but it... More

My wife and I enjoyed one helluva good time in "Wrigleyville" made possible in a significant way by our delightful stay at the Old Chicago Inn. We found the property to be exactly as described and will definitely be returning. Our weekend getaway was specifically designed around a Cubs-Reds game at Wrigley Field and the Inn's location planted us smack-dab... More

Stayed here for a show at Schuba's and discovered a gem! My sister and nephew met me --they came from Midway airport and I drove from the west. The proximity to the El was perfect. The innkeeper made our stay into a wonderful experience. He knows how to get you anywhere in the city easily and gives you useful tips.... More
