My husband and I loved our stay at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff was great. They all were friendly and accommodating and truly wanted to help in anyway. We loved our suite...it was clean and well appointed. The hotel still has so much character even with a recent re-do. We were surprised by an unadvertised New Year's... More

Got a great deal through priceline name your own price. The room was very small just enough room for one person. It was clean and adequate I definitely would not pay full price for this hotel. The lobby and staff were great. Location was great and convenient. More

Stayed here for a few days and was very impressed. While the building is older, the rooms have been recently renovated in the modern style. Staff was very nice at check in and throughout my stay. My only complaint is that the room could have been cleaner, especially in the bathroom, where there were a few handprints and smudges. However,... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post your review. While we are happy you enjoyed our newly renovated guest rooms, we were disappointed to hear about your perception of our cleanliness. I spent 3 nights at this hotel with my boyfriend MLK weekend. Hotel was comfortable and quiet, with a very convenient location. We were able to easily access many tourist attractions either on foot or utilizing public transportation. Two negatives of note: shower door leaked and created a minor flood every time it was used and wi-fi was only available... More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel on Dec 22, 2011 for one night. I can back because I had previous great stay for four nights in October on business. The value is tremendous having spent less than $ 150 per night. On Dec 22nd, the deal was even better costing only $ 110 per night... More

I bid on this room through Priceline and got an incredible mid-week deal. Since this was a surprise birthday present to my husband, I phoned ahead requesting a room with a view of the lakefront. Upon arrival, I was told that due to its location there was no such thing. The first room we were given had a view --... More

This was my first stay at this hotel. We checked in early, but the early check in fee was waived because we signed up for their loyalty program. Front desk was always helpful. Only two draw backs was our shower door was not sealed properly, so everytime we showered, it leaked all over the floor and we'd have to keep... More

The Knickerbocker used to be an excellent hotel, full of old-world charm. Now, thanks largely to the staff, it is probably one of the least hospitable places to stay in Chicago. The bellmen were surly, the concierge seemed wholly unfamiliar with the city, but the worst was the staff in the bar, who seem all to have come from some... More

Go the room through Priceline. Staff was pleasant. The room was small. Space for only one person to walk between bed and tv. More
