While very nice in many respects, this hotel is imediatey adjacent to the Northwetsern memorail Hospital emergency room entrance. Very noisy with ambulances arriving hourly. if you are visiting the hospital however its perfect Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, but the location was good and the restaurant advice from the concierge was great. The hotels one block off of Michigan Ave offer a much better value than staying right on the street. Room was big, clean and the staff was very courteous. From the bellhop, valet and check in all personnel were extremely courteous and helpful. I can't say that of the guests! Everyone we met in the elevators or on the floor was rude! Conveniently located near Michigan Ave and Northwestern medical center, a decent waling distance from the L train. Staff was rude during check-in. Internet connection very expensive ($11 per day) and SLOW. Rooms need basic repairs-- carpet is peeling off, floorboards exposed. I expected more from the Wyndham name. More
