Beautiful home with view of Grant's Park in historic Galena, IL, home of President and Civil War Hero US Grant. Home belonged to physician and friend of President Grant who lived 4 doors down. We had a wonderful stay with Kathleen and Tom. Their home is beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. The gardens were just breathtaking and relaxing. We were with friends and felt like we were at our own vacation home. We are looking forward to visiting again. More
