Good: Location is good. Easy walking. Bad: Parking is far away. Hotel is run down and really needs renovation. Not clean, uncomfortable bed, air conditioner didn't work, and an odd odor. I would recommend avoiding this hotel. For the cost I would have expected something much nicer.

I stayed here unexpectedly after a flight cancellation and I was glad of a clean, comfortable bed. Staff were helpful, but not effusive. Hotel is definitely run down, but I didn't find any of the disasters mentioned in other reviews. Given the hot Chicago summer, I appreciated the effective A/C. Had breakfast at Hemmingway's downstairs, which was charming.
