My girlfriend and I spent 7 nights at Blue Footprints Eco-Lodge in March 2013. It was hands-down the most incredible place we've ever stayed at. The staff, accommodation, food... everything... Liz and her team are Amazing, they make you feel right at home ALL the time. The food was outstanding... We still miss it :-) The rooms are stunning and... More

Absolutely great lodge in a great area of the country. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The architecture and setting of the lodge is fantastic. Great food and service as well. We loved the staff! Thanks again. Porter and Ashley

Last year, in December, me and Mikael went to Africa for a Safari combined with Diving. I have worked in the travelbusiness for quite some years and have been to many places all over the world - but none of them can be compared with Blue Footprints. The nature, surroundings, the houses, dogs and the best of all - Liz,... More

I've been visiting blue footprints in November with my partner for only 4 days. The more time is passing the more I remember my stay there and how it was different and special! First of all because of the very warm, very hearty people working there, Liz, Lisa and John. You see immediately they do it with the heart, they... More

This small and lovely ecolodge has surpassed our expectations for more than 100%. We stayed there for 6 days at the end of 2012 and celebrated old/new year together with the staff and the other guests. Very special. The chalets on the top of the dunes with the wonderfull sunrise, the coffee or tea they will bring you at any... More

While being extremely up market, Bluefootprints doesn't lose the awesome rustic Mozambican charm.. it's the perfect getaway for those that want something "a little more luxurious" than the typical Mozambican accomodation offers. Meals were superb and ranged from Crayfish and braaied Barracuda to incredible steak (difficult to get great meat in Moz). Breakfast fruits could have been more varied though.... More

I was sorting through photos from my trip to Mozambique that I took this past July...long overdue. But it's the best time to look at photos of a perfect vacation spent in a serene, untouched, part of the Inhambane coast when it's winter in NYC. My boyfriend and I learned about Blue Footprints EcoLodge from Trip Advisor reviews and I... More

We spent our honeymoon at Blue Footprints and I cannot compliment them enough. The location, facilities, service and staff are absolutely amazing and you would be a fool to even consider anywhere else in this area. The lodge is ideally situated between Barra and Tofu (+-6km to either if you walk along the beach) which means you are close enough... More

My boyfriend and me stayed at the Blue Footprints Ecolodge for 5 days. It was the best part of our trip through Namibia and Mozambique. Liz and Lisa run this place in an excellent way that makes you feel home. And it's not just about having cosi rooms with a great view, it's about getting the best dinner menu every... More
