Carpets that any self-respecting homeowner would be ashamed to live with or let friends see, remnants of old cigarette burns at the edge of most flat surfaces, lingering cigarette smell in a "non-smoking" room, dust on all areas that are not immediately accessible by vacuum cleaner or damp rag. The price was right. The rooms were comfortable. The WiFi signal wasn't so good in the back of the hotel, it may have been better in another room. The hotel needs minor repairs all around to be really nice, but it was clean and comfortable. Numerous dining places, a 24 hr pharmacy, and Wal-Mart all within a very short distance. More

Room was fairly clean, staff was Ok. The biggest issue, though, was the sound levels in the room coming from the neighbors. Checkin was pretty quick, about 5 minutes. This is an older hotel that used to be a Fairfield Inn by Marriott. My room door (339) was very hard to open, they must have re-carpeted without trimming the bottom of the door. The room was small, the bathroom is very small. Super 8 College Park has spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. The staff and management are friendly and helpful. The wireless internet is fast and works well. I didn't try the breakfast buffet but it looked good. They even have a swimming pool. You can't beat the value. I will stay again when I am in the area. More
