Good comfortable stay. If you arrive late and on a Sunday evening you might want to drive somewhere to eat, downtown location on a Sunday evening had few options to walk & eat; but would not stop me from booking here in the future.

My wife joined me on a business trip. We enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding community so much we extended our stay for one additional day. The front desk staff were profesisonal and friendly, and provided many great ideas for places to eat and other entertainment.

Our family of five stayed at the Candlewood in downtown Terre Haute. We had the option of cooking in or visting any of the downtown restaurants. We were pleasantly suprised at the history of the hotel. The staff (from the housekeeper to managment) treated us as their personal guests. Overall great experience at the Candlewood. We will stay again!

I have stayed at most of the terre haute hotels in the same price range and none have pleased me as well as Candlewood. It is a hotel designed for independent people like myself. Our family had a great time at the Candlewood Suites!! We have 2 dogs and they were just as welcome as we were!! Very polite young lady at check in! We even had a wonderful housekeeper who cleaned our room once a week! Thank you Kim! It's all together a wonderful unique hotel..

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location in down town area within walking distance to food and drink. Great nite life area. 1 Block from ISU campus event center for sports and big entertainment venues. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. I spent 9 weeks here and was a place i would recomend to any one.
