We just got home from camping at Sampson Springs in Decorah, great trout fishing located close by. Lots of space in between camping spots, not crowded whatsoever. Beautiful view any way you turn! This campground is ideal for the Trout Fishing it centers around great streams. Decorah Iowa has so much to see and do. My husband and I bring are boy's and sometime we come up for a getaway. Sampson Springs campground is located about 10 miles SE of Decorah on Highway 9 and 2 miles north on 133rd Avenue which is a graveled road. All RV sites are graveled with some pull-thrus.
