We stumbled upon this hotel not by choice, but because of a roadside breakdown. It was one of only two pet-friendly hotels in Hays and was just perfect for us. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, staff was friendly, free breakfast was good (waffles!), and there was good access to restaurants.

Room was about 50 degrees. No heat all day to save money. After three hours, the room was still not warm because of poor heaters. Will not stay here again. I do stay in a lot of hotels for work, and this place is a poor value.

I read several reviews for this hotel for a period of about 6 months and they seemed to go down-hill into the winter but, I needed to save money as I was staying a week, so I booked it anyhow. I was surprisingly pleased! The rooms were very spacious and clean, the staff more than pleasant and very helpful. My... More

I would like to inform all viewers to steer clear of this hotel... They are overpriced for the quality they offer in their establishment. I am thankful they offered a military discount bringing the total price to 72.14 dollars + 15.00 dollars for a 8lb dog (mini rat terror). For some reason they decided to put 3 pet rooms on... More

Made reservation here because they accept pets. Comforter stained and dirty. Dog went under bed came out with dust balls. Overall rest of inn was clean. Toaster only toasted bread one side. Parking is behind the inn and dimley lit. Room by stairs so heard stomping all night. Was not worth $89.00.

Older hotel with small bathroom but sink and counter in room. Good price includes continental breakfast. Waffel was the only warm item so we passed and stopped at MacDonalds for coffee and sausage biscuit to go just to get more road time.

The hotel staff was so friendly and very helpful with everything. My stay was wonderful and the room was very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfy. The breakfast in the morning was extensive and kept full. The front desk staff was great in recommending a restaurant and where to find the bison herd.

When you drive across western Kansas in the summer, you are going to be very hot and very tired. In case you haven't experienced the drive across I-70; the state is 1735 miles across. More seriously, when you are driving across western Kansas the food and lodging pickings are going to be very slim, indeed. This was a pleasant surprise.... More

This hotel was a pretty old hotel, but fairly well kept up. Room was clean, but a little dated. Hotel allowed pets for a $15 each surcharge. If you have pets and can stay at a less than first class hotel, this one is ok. There really isn't much available in Hays Ks when it comes to hotels that allow... More

Arriving on a 109 degree day crossing Kansas by I-70 we'd opted for a "Choice Hotel Rewards Night" and couldn't have been more pleased with the results! Great experience. (When using the hard won "points" - a reward is hoped for and in no way did this fall short. Desk clerk was bright, good natured and gave good tips on... More
