We stayed here after having a horrendous bed bug experience at the Super 8 down the road near the highway and to our shock, this hotel also had bugs. Dead ants lined the bathroom tile floor. Why don't Iola KS hotels clean their rooms!?

While attending the annual Buster Keaton Celebration, I always stay at the Best Western as it offers the best amenities and is close to all of the goings-on of the weekend. Clean! Friendly! Traditional style hotel extremely well kept. As a Proffesional driver I stay in many rooms. These were cool w/newer a/c units and good water pressure. Friendly staff and the towns best restraunt just out front.

It looks a bit dated and it is but it's a pretty decent place with a low rate. Nothing too fancy here but clean and seemed safe enough. Free breakfast left something to be desired. No exercise room. It does have an outdoor pool and has a restaurant/lounge at one end of the building.
