I've been traveling to Wichita for various tax seminars and board of director meetings since 1988. Wichita Inn West makes every effort to work with me so that I get a ground floor room whenever I'm in town. The rooms are always clean and inviting, and the heating/cooling systems can be adjusted to my preference. They also have an indoor... More

If all you want is a clean place to stay then fine. But if you want to feel appreciated as a guest then find somewhere else to stay. I was traveling alone with a two year old. I chose this hotel because the website offers shuttle to the airport and free parking. When I called to reserve my room, I... More

Jackie is a great manager. They've done remodeling since she took over. They now have flat screen TVs, and they've always had refrigerators, coffee makers, microwaves, ironing boards and iron. It is always clean. And everyone is friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is good, and they have quite a selection of movies to watch in the room (no charge).... More

If you need to SLEEP this is your place nice clean room with nice TV and DVD player. Comfortable bed and nice staff. But that is IT no frills, no pool, no workout room, nothing that would boost this place above 2 star status. If you are drawn to places that serve continental breakfast this would NOT be your place... More

Stayed here the last weekend of March when there was a freak winter storm in the area. Room was very clean and comfortable with many amenities akin to a higher-priced place included such as micro-fridge but with free Internet, many higher-prices places charge for connectivity. Very quiet with virtually no outside sounds filtering in. Definitely a good value for the... More

This is a no-frills hotel, but a good choice if you are traveling on a budget. Amenities are few, but the hotel is clean and well-kept. The front desk and housekeeping staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary continental breakfast which consisted of a selection of cereals, donuts, pastries, juice and coffee. The rooms are... More

Stayed at this hotel in September 2006. Early in the morning our toilet was to the point of overflowing and we were not able to use it. My wife and I made 2 trips to the restroom off the lobby from the 2nd floor because of this problem. When we checked out we told the front desk personnel about the... More

We stopped in Wichita while traveling across country and ended up in what seemed like a fairly seedy part of town. While getting fuel at a store I asked a policeman where we should go for the night and told him I wanted a safe, quite place where I wouldn't have to spend a fortune. He recommended the Wichita Inn... More
