Our first hotel canceled our reservation and then gave us this hotel as a recommendation. It was after 7:30 pm and I was ready to be done traveling. So, I was happy to get a room here.

We checked in, went to our room and then went back down for a dip in the pool. I was disappointed, no hot tub (one is NOT advertised either). The pool is NOT heated. It was super cold, but I was the only one in it - which is beyond awesome for me. There are also towels in the pool area.

The minifridge wasn't overly cold, but we were only staying one night, so it was doable.

I loved the shower! The only thing that would have improved it would have been pump bottles of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel instead of little bottles.

We loved how spacious our room was.

It's on my list to return to.

I am lifetime titanium but checking in on Saturday and out at 5 AM Sunday, prevented me from enjoying any status benefits. Complementary breakfast would have been available,

Not fancy, but very well run. The shuttle service to the airport runs like a finely tuned Swiss watch. Very precise. Reserve your time when you check in. Several large bus type shuttles on site. Not just a van. A few minutes to the airport. The very ordinary restaurant was a great surprise. The recommended turkey club sandwich was excellent and enough for two people. It cost $ 17 and was worth it. Cheesecake Factory equivalent for about $2 more.

I booked the drive and fly Package and parking is at the front, not in some dark back lot.

I only spent 8 hours there, but hotel seemed clean, check in at front desk was quick, beds comfortable. My main problem is that I had solely booked this place for Park N Ride, and the service regarding that was awful. My flight got in >midnight, and not many shuttles go that late, so I chose this hotel for its location, shuttle hours, and brand name.They tell you to call from baggage claim, but people from our small group called while even disembarking the plane. Our shuttle took 40 MINUTES to arrive, while we are all standing out there in the winter air, watching the shuttles from Holiday Inn Express and Courtyard go by more than once. We called the hotel several times to check on the shuttle, and the response was "He should be there any minute". By the time I got to my room, I could have been home already. Never again. Do yourself a favor and stay in the other 2 hotels I listed..their shuttle will get you to and from the airport just as quickly anyway, and for a cheaper price.

First, a few pluses. It's very convenient to the CVG airport and the room was clean and fresh. However, the rooms are quite small, especially when compared with newer hotels that offer suites as the standard room for quite a bit less than Marriott branded properties. This used to be the flagship tier for Marriott hotels but it's really declined. The furniture was worn and tired. The restaurant downstairs was just a bar, with poor service, noisy and uninviting. The fire alarm went off in the room next to us because the back up battery had failed. It should have just "chirped" but why couldn't this have been routinely replaced by staff to prevent this? Why wait until a guest is inconvenienced in the middle of the night? And, there was banging on the floor from the room above us, like someone dropping a golf ball on the floor all night long. There were rust stains in the bathtub and the drain was SLOW. All in all, the negatives far outweighed the positives. As a lifetime gold Bonvoy member, I've stayed in hundreds of Marriott properties over the years. The brand has really declined lately. Marriott needs to ask themselves how they can stay competitive with other properties who offer free hot breakfasts, fresh, up-to-date facilities, and for a price far less than Marriott charges. In other words, why do I want to stay at this property in lieu of the competition? Well, I don't. And I won't.

The facilities are good; but, the service has dropped dramatically. On day one of 3 day stay, our room was not cleaned and we returned to full trash cans and dirty towels. Not expected from a $200+ room. The front desk blamed it on Corporate. I optioned for the $10 a day internet for streaming and it would cut out around 9PM. Missed my complimentary coffee & Danish in the lobby, had to opt for $50 breakfast. Pre Covid, I held Silver status and I have to note that I will be using my Hilton Honors for my next trip; going by the comment from the front desk that the down grade in service is a Corporate Thing.

Lobby nice. I bet it and restaurant area are great in the non COVID era.

Room appearance is solid.

Shower could be cleaner and shower drain loose.

The mattress was somewhat firm.

Perfectly adequate hotel for a single day business trip or for flight.

The night staff should understand they are in The hospitality business they told me I could park out front then they towed my car this was in clapped for and one of several signs of decline…. This hotel should not allow a front desk “MOD” have the ability to tow a guest’s car if they can’t find shirts that are clean or cut there finger nails on a regular basis.
This is the basics of hospitality.

Chose hotel based on Marriott brand as well as advertised "featuring complimentary airport shuttle service and parking". Unfortunately, upon check in we learned that the free parking was overnight only, not for duration of the week we had planned on leaving the car parked in lot. Instead that was an additional $55.00. We have stayed at other brands of hotels in area where it is, indeed, free parking. Next we learned that the airport opens at 3:30am but the first shuttle doesn't leave hotel until 4:15am. That doesn't work for people who have 5am flights. "That's the way it's always been" per the desk staff. Well, sometimes you should consider the needs of your customers who are staying at your property for proximity to airport. Finally, I inquired about the lounge listed on website. Well, it's only open M-F for breakfast, not on weekends, not in the evening (M club is listed as the lounge on website). As a platinum elite member I have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years. This one was a disappointment.

Not even sure where to start. Rooms are big but they have no usable closet space or drawers for a couple staying for 3 or 4 nights. Bathroom vanity is 4 or 5" short for the space leaving ugly exposed pipes. TV did not work in our room or several other guests we traveled with. They did fix it once we complained. The bar is even worse. Ordered a drink and we had an insect frozen in the ice cube along with a hair wrapped around it. Another member of our group ordered a drink and they too had a bug in the ice. Later the bar tender finally started checking and had to pour out another drink she made because it too had something in the ice cube. Later that night we ordered chips and salsa. Pulled a hair out of the salsa. My wife was sick for over 24 hours, pretty sure it was from the food. The next night we ordered a hamburger, well down, it was not cooked. Great way to make people sick.

The Cincinnati Airport Marriott is a quick shuttle ride from the airport. We stayed in a large room, on the top floor, with great views of planes coming in to land. Don't miss taking a photo of the planes at sunset! During our one night stay, there was a high school team spending the night. They kind of took over the restaurant area, however, the servers did a great job making sure everyone was happy. Our turkey dinner, at the bar, was really good. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast because we took a very early flight. The friendly shuttle driver was waiting for us (before the sun came up) in the lobby, offered us a cup of coffee, and got us to the airport promptly. We will definitely return to this Marriott when we travel through the area.
