“Excellent Staff, clean rooms”

My husband has had to "live" in this hotel for 3-4 nights each week for a year. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and everything is very clean and neat! I highly recommend the Priority Club Rewards Club--earn free nights pretty quickly :-) Good value!! More

“Horrible; not worth the money; in desperate need of renovation”

We booked 3 non smoking rooms for business and they gave us three smoking rooms. The reception didn't offer any solution and really didn't seem to care at all. Thank you for your response. I'm sorry we were unable to accommodate your non-smoking request. Please know we NEVER change a guest's room type without their permission, especially smoking preference. If a smoking room was booked, that's what was given. There are situations where you can book online for a "Standard Room" which does not guarantee a specific bed type... More

The hotel is very clean. The staff is excellent and professional except for the grey haired woman who works nights. If a situation arises where attention must be shown to a particular challenge, the staff (with the exception of the prudence of the aforementioned woman) is more than willing to do what they can to bring about a good resolution.... “Holiday Inn Express offers great cinnamon rolls”

I mean, everything else being equal, the cinnamon rolls are worth booking a night just for the free breakfast. Rooms are comfortable with every amenity you could want. Weather permitting, there are several restaurants within walking distance. Front desk was very helpful as we were trying to get someone to the hotel from an obscure location. More

I have been staying at this hotel for about 4 yrs now and have always been very pleased. One thing it has ref and microwave in room which is a very nice plus. The rooms are nice size and clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Easy access to everything in Nicholasville, Ky and easy to get to Lexington, KY. More

This is an older property and is in need of remodeling. For the most part, it was clean. There were stains on the carpets and chairs and mold in the bathtub grout. Linens appeared to be new. Holiday Inn, Nicholasville KY: Avoid this place. General Manager, Bailey Brewer's behavior was arrogant, rude, unorganized, inflexible and in our case, refused to honor a negotiated discount on 5 rooms.
