I really enjoyed my stay! I chose this place because of the animals, the old farmhouse and the traditional charm that it offers. The owners are inviting, warm and friendly. First Farm Inn is located in a safe, countryside place, so in the afternoon, I had a chance to walk and explore. I was accompanied by Odo, the lovable Aussie... More

I had read the reviews about the squeaky bed before we arrived and wish I had paid more attention! We spent a very sleepless night in the 1870's room (the downstairs room) because the bed does NOT just have some slight, barely noticeable squeak. This bed squeals like a banshee. If you move AT ALL in your sleep you will... More

So sorry this family didn’t sleep well. After seeing previous comments, last summer we bought a new underbed support system that we thought had eliminated or reduced that antique bed’s squeaking. No one had mentioned it until now, so we thought it was resolved. I’ve posted a request for suggestions on an innkeeper’s blog and we will continue to try... More

This place served its perpose being a place to stay, I enjoyed watching the chickens run around and liked looking at the horses. The owner was accomodating but not very personable. He seemed to be much more of an animal person than a people person - mainly cats- there are cat towels, cat stitched pillow in the chair, a cat... More

We are amazed when people who don’t like animals choose to stay with us. The huge majority of our guests love our kitties as much as we do. If hundreds of website photos aren’t enough to let potential guests know that we have cats, every single caller is reminded before they book. Looking forward to a fun and romantic weekend,... More

I had wanted to go to a Dude Ranch when my husband found the FFInn was on our way to visit family. I was so afraid it would be a nose to tail ride. Not even close. It was a lesson, a chance to get to know your horse, and a bit of freedom to enjoy your ride. A wonderful... More

If you would like a very unique experience of sleeping and dinning in an old farm house, the First Farm Inn is perfect. We enjoyed relaxing in our comfortable rooms that had everything we need to unwind from a long day of travel. We also enjoyed the wonderful warm hot tub just off the back porch. We took our 3... We have visited with Jen & Dana on more than one occasion. You could not ask for a finer hostess and host. Food is well chosen; presented exquisitely; and taste is superb. Their farm house is open to visitors who wish to meet and greet as they travel. All appointments are thought out with the benefit of guests' comfort in... More

I am a 65 year old IT professional who is a road warrior and stayed in many B&Bs over the last 20 years. My two days at this B&B were most unpleasant. Customer friendliness, southern charm and hospitality are NOT part of the culture in this B&B. (as I am sure you will witness when Mrs. Innkeeper writes her stinging... More

Wow, what an unhappy review! If half the things this person claims were true, we’d have gone out of business long ago. This woman neglected to say that she brought completely undisciplined preschoolers to the house and let them run wild, exploring our bedrooms and taking whatever they wanted while we were out to dinner. That is not the behavior... More

Wow what a perfect place! The couple was very nice and welcoming. The house was beautiful and our room, the treetops room, was spacious clean and private. We stayed two nights and both breakfasts were incredible! We also rode after breakfast on Sunday. I have very little horse experience but my wife had tons and they let her ride off... More

We were the only guests and we stayed in a large room on the top floor with a nice private bath. The common rooms downstairs were warm and comfortable with a fireplace to warm our feet after a horse back ride in the snow. The owner is very knowledgeable about horses and taught us about them as we prepared our... More

I went to Kentucky for the World Equestrian Games and to visit a friend in Bellevue KY. Although the Games were great, being from California I really wanted to experience a trail ride in Kentucky. I could not have found a better place and I am so thankful Jen was there that day, and accomodated me on very short notice.... More
