Booked a king smoking in the morning, via the telephone. Told them we would be a late arrival, arrived at 10:00 pm and was given a double full room because they didn't hold the king room for us even though we reserved it with our credit card. The front desk offered a non smoking room but had no other smoking... More

This motel is located in a commercial but fairly safe section of BR. The traffic on 1-10 by the motel is incredibly slow at certain times of the day on weekdays. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Everything worked properly. If you make long-distance calls with a calling card from this motel using the room phone, dial 9 and... More

Friendly staff, pet friendly with no extra fee, good breakfast. Clean and fresh room. A great place to stay for modest pri$e. We had a comfortable king bed and feather pillows - would stay again. Will look for LaQuinta Inn for future hotel stays. I even joined their "club" to earn points for free nights.

This is an older property, and by its look it was originally built as a Baymont. I would estimate it to be 30 to 40 years old. You can tell that things have been done to update the property. In our room, there was newer carpet, light fixtures, vanity faucet, dresser, bed table, and recliner. Beds were excellent, with clean... More

We have stayed at this place and were highly disappointed. La Quinta used to be a Motel chain we liked a lot, because they were clean, nicly decorated and in a good quality. This place should be removed from the La Quinta brand since it would not fulfill the level expected from that chain. Everything was filthy and bad. The... More

As the title indicates, this hotel is a traveler's last resort. It is in dire need of complete renovation. Check your door lock when you leave. Ours did not work and we needed to change rooms right as we were leaving for an appointment. The personnel are nice enough but plain & simple everything about this place is worn &... More

I had to stay at this hotel for one night due to lack of availability during the LSU homecoming weekend. An old musty smell greets you at the door, along with the pleasant smile of a very friendly clerk. The elevator smelled of old cigarettes and was in need of a good sweep and mopping. The hallway carpets were stained,... More

Not a horrible hotel, but this was only a stopover for our New Orleans trip. I have to say, the entire parking lot was full so money is not a problem which made the obvious maintenance needs all the more glaring. Paint peeling off the door, carpet nasty looking, etc. It was very clean, and the employees were nice and... More

We went to hear a senior recital of our adopted child at LSU and experienced the worst accommodations ever in our travel experiences. This was the same weekend as the LSU-Alabama game so we knew that accommodations would be scarce and expensive. Although the staff seemed friendly and attentive, the room was deplorable. 1. When turning down the bed linen... More

I think this hotel needs a renovation! It's old, and outdated. My husband and I came in town for the LSU/S. Carolina game. All hotels were booked except this one and a few Motel 6's. I booked through Amex, and it cost $189.00 for the King suite. The room was old, dirty, and not worth $189.00! The pullout couch was... More
