My husband and I spent 2 nights here and had the most wonderful time. Beautiful accommodation, Madeleine herself is charming and helpful, amazing food and great tips on what to do in the area. We loved the Garconniere and grounds, and the pets (especially Paddy the dog) gave us very warm welcomes. We would love to return here.

When we drove up Paddy, a big yellow Lab, greeted and escorted us to the front door. When I saw Madeleine's beautiful smile and smelled that Cypress aroma of Maison Madeleine, I knew it would be a lovely stay. Thanks Madeleine for the great breakfast and conversation. Everything about Maison Madeleine is fantastic, right down to the one-eyed cat and Paddie who has to have his tummy rubbed or you will not be allowed to go anywhere! We can't remember staying in a better place. The rooms were absolutely stunning. This was definitely the highlight of our road trip across the South. Breakfast was incredible too, the only downside was the pesky midges - but hey what can you do. Stay here!
