We booked a week here prior to leaving home for England. After we were there a few days we decided we wanted to stay longer, but alas, only one more night was available to us. We enjoyed the fresh, fragrant country air, lovely green lawns and fields, glorious spring flowers, and the QUIET! Mary Anne and Robert were very helpful... More

Absoluetly excellent! Mary-Anne and Robert are extremely welcoming, friendly (but not intrusive) and interesting hosts in a top notch B&B in a very quiet location. Really good rooms and breakfast, nice visitor lounge with a wood burning stove which was much appreciated in probably the coldest weekend of the 2012/13 winter (-1.5c both days). Having somewhere nice and warm to... More

After a busy day in Oxford we were wanting a nice quiet English country retreat, Rectory Farm was the perfect answer for us, with a welcome pot of tea on our arrival in front of the reception room fire, A very spacious and comfortable bedroom awaited us with all you would expect from a 5 stare B&B. I stayed here for several nights with my family and enjoyed it very much. The cabin we stayed in was well outfitted and we enjoyed the wood-burning stove. The little town is lovely. It's an easy 15 minute drive to the Oxford park & ride. Perhaps the best thing was the little pub just a 3 minute walk from the... More

Recently stayed for two nights at Rectory Farm. Rooms spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Warm friendly welcome with wonderful shortbread and tea on our arrival. The building and gardens are interesting and charming. Breakfasts were just excellent with muffin and choc au pain 'treats'. Thoroughly recommended for a great holiday.

Just stayed here this weekend with my Girlfriend Joanne and it was great. It was nice to get away and the surroundings are fantastic. The owner 'Mary Anne' was very nice and she made sure we had everything we needed. I can recommend to anyone who wishes a short break away in the Oxfordshire that it is a really good... More

We booked this place last minute over bank holiday weekend. The guest house was nice, lovely building outside had a nice welcome and delicious shortbread. When we arrived we went for a walk around the lakes which was lovely. We ate in the local pub which was horrible. You are kind of stuck without any options if you don't fancy... More

Just echoing the other glowing reviews here about Rectory Farm - warm, inviting, friendly, great rooms and a lovely property. Mary Anne's shortbread is probably the best I've ever had. Her hot cross buns at breakfast almost had me changing my travel plans to stay another night just to be able to have them again.
