You may be tempted to stay here because of the location and recent renovations...but don't do it!!! The old Landmark needed renovation, but at least they tried to please guests. The room was clean, updated linens, flat screen TV; friendly service. Had trouble with TV remote, alarm clock & when showering tub filled up with water. Front desk handled those things immediately. 1 thing we didn't like was the fact that at checkout we discovered they charged us for using the safe. NO mention of a charge at reservation time... More

We really like the Best Western hotel at all and specially in this location, the room is very cozy & clean: the bed is very comfort: the location is easy to access. we do planned to stay at BW in South CA in June and at this location on our next trip with more friends from different states.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room, general atmosphere, and helpfulness of the staff. Born and raised in New Orleans , lived in area over 40 years , I return often for family,business , and doctors. If convenient,Northshore is first choice,however ,sometimes I am forced to Southshore and this hotel is my choice for location .Could be better but its OK.

We found a warm welcome, a richly decorated hotel, a 3 story parking garage that was right next to entry points. A good variety of breakfast foods. Next door to Whole Foods and near a street full of restaurants and malls. We have stayed in 10 hotels this trip and I'd say this is the best.

Staff was nice. Rate reasonable. Room clean but the place shows its age and feels dark. Parking convenient. Ask for no smoking floor to ensure minimal smoke smell. Room was quiet. The bed was clean and comfortable.

We stay here every time we come to town it just gets better and better we would highly recommend the breakfast buffet in am is best around and cafe is great if you don't feel like getting out everything we wanted was accommodating extra pillows and extra towels overall very pleased the staff and the service
