I guess this is one of those you get what you pay for deals. The hallways smelled like urine and the bedding was dirty. The free breakfast was ok...it was free. Good news...the employees were super nice.

We just stayed 2 nights for the Breaux Bridge crawfish festival. For under $60/night, this met expectations--nothing fancy, but more than we expected. Yes, the eggs were not great, but to even offer a breakfast at this price was surprising. This Howard Johnson was horrible. The hallway was very hot and smelly ! There were roaches crawling around and the bathtub was dirty! I will NEVER stay here again! I was there with a group and all the guest complained about the conditions .

Good hotel, comfortable beds and friendly staff. There was road construction by the hotel which made it difficult to get into the property following the turn-by-turn directions offered by the hotel site. The breakfast was satisfactory but not award winning.
