My husband and I decided to get away for a quiet weekend and chose to escape to the Pattershall House in Belfast. Belfast is a neat little town with a variety of dining and shopping options. We found our room and the entire Inn to be impeccably clean, comfortable, and inviting. Sandy and Russ are wonderful hosts and made us... More

I stayed at the Pattershall house for a working weekend. The owner and hostess, Sandy, are very personable, very pleasant. Thus, the experience was quite memorable. The house itself is quite charming and Belfast can be a Hidden jewel.

Everything was great. The rooms are spacious and clean. The house is lovely. Do not forget to ask Russ for the complimentary Railroad tickets. Breakfast was excellent with toast, eggs and fruit, The breakfast room overlooks the bay and the railroad tracks. The train only runs once a day and it is not disturbing,

We stayed here after some time in Acadia Nat Park in Oct 2012. It was a nice halfwayish stop between Acadia and Portland. It's only about an hour from Acadia so it makes for a great place to stay when returning from Acadia. The home recently underwent major renovations and it was really well done. Sandy was there to greet... More

I booked one night in the Pattershall house for my girlfriend and myself to escape from the demands of Life for a weekend. Having never stayed in a Bed & Breakfast before, we were quite unsure and anxious as we pulled into the drive. However, Sandy was outside to warmly greet us with a hug and a genuine smile. Any... After picking up our granddaughter, who is a student at UM in Orono, we proceeded to Belfast to spend time in beautiful Maine and with our granddaughter. We found the Patteshal House and were very pleased to notice the location and the appearance of the Inn. It was beautifully decorated inside and out. Loved the New England style of house... More

What a delight! We were welcomed into this charming home by Sandy, the B & B hostess, and later joined by Russ, the B & B owner. We had a wonderful evening! Sandy prepared a traditional New England dinner for just the two of us....it was delicious! We had corresponded prior to our visit to plan the menu for this... More

In looking for a wonderful setting to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, we chose the Pattershall House and were delighted with our choice. The location is picture perfect with views back towards Belfast Harbor. The added bonus, in addition to the fantastic Harbor View Room, was the excellent hospitality of both Sandy and Russ. Our breakfasts were a yummy and... More

I was looking for a place with the old charm of an historic American home in a quiet setting but also something that had been updated a bit and we weren't disappointed. The house was awesome and Sandy and Russ were great hosts. Sandy made us a wonderful breakfast each day and she had the home decorated with a warmth... More

My husband and I had a lovely night at the Pattershall. The house is beautiful, and immaculately clean. A very sweet, shy cat is on the premises, and she takes some coaxing, but I managed to make friends with her. Sandy was a delightful host, making a gorgeous, huge breakfast that included scallops! I would highly recommend for the hospitality,... More
