We stayed at the Admirals Quarters Inn June 2011 and I can honestly say it's a must-stay when you visit ME. We arrived on the afternoon of the Windjammer Festival so we were lucky enough to see all that Booth Bay Harbor has to offer as well as the culture and beauty of this coastal town. You will feel welcomed,... More

My wife and I decided to very spontaneously stay an evening in Boothbay Harbor this past August. We've visited the town frequently and just love the place. Our critieria was twofold in settling for a place...1) walking distance to the docks, and 2) view of the open harbor (not some water, rocks, and the opposite shore. We checked out a... More

Admirals Quarters is a wonderful clean beautiful B&B.......We had lovely coastal views and 3 private balconeys to sit and watch the beauty of Maine.....Friendly staff who really cared about us.......It is close to fantastic shopping , boat trips, restaurants and all Boothbay has to offer.........also convenient parking right at the inn. When planning my yearly vacation to Maine, the Admirals... More

As is my usual habit I decided at the last minute to go the "best village in Maine" Boothbay Harbor and called Jeff Teel "innkeeper parexcellance" to hopefully find "room at the inn" in the Greenleaf Inn my long time favorite and looking to stay in what I like to refer to as "my room" room #1 at the Greenleaf.... We loved this place. The rooms were just beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff very friendly and courteous. Even though it's a B&B you don't have to eat at the same table with everyone - it's like a little restaurant with separate tables. My only complaint is the overbearing smell of Febreeze in... More

Well we would never stay here again - beds were like rocks (stayed in 2 different rooms) For the money it is totally not worth it. Breakfast was sparse and limited. When I pay $200+ per night I don't expect store bought danish, and cereal. Would not recommend. Travel all the time for business and personal this was terrible. More

Many years ago, we tried to stay at this inn, but the room was tiny and filled with the toxic smell of mothballs. They would not give us another room, and under pressure finally found us a room in another inn, 3 floors up and linens full of casings. We had to pay both inns for that one night. I... More

First the location: This B&B is at the quiet end of Commercial Street where is all the "action" in Boothbay Harbor but you hear none of the noise or commotion. You just pull in and park, no valet or far away parking spots. The B&B sits on a hill that overlooks the town, harbor and the sea. You can sit... More

What a perfect bed and breakfast in a perfect location. We stayed in the Admiral's Quarters room 4. I feel like we got the best room in the entire place. The view is absolutely amazing. You look from the bed straight out to the harbor and the view couldn't be more beautiful. The town is charming and you can walk... More

This is one of the few B&B's open in the "off season" so I don't know how it would be at other times of the year. AQ#6 is a nice room with great amenities but the space is tight. There are multiple common areas available if you need more relaxing space. The "water view" was slightly disappointing in that most... More
