Stayed here on a four day weekend at the end of September. Outside is standard two story hotel look, but rooms are very nice in decor and amenities. One caution - there is no elevator to the second floor, but the staff is very helpful. More

A wonderful location, pleasant and efficient staff and the chef's special of baked haddock stuffed with crabmeat under a lobster and cream sauce was the tastiest meal of our entire trip (and that included some pretty swanky restaurants!) They are not putting any money back into this place - our sheets wouldn't stay on the mattresses (paper thin and old). Restaurant wasn't available. Better places for that view. Felt very ripped off - $276 for old sheets with a musty smell! More

$250/night for a view. A bed so old that King Henry VIII slept in. The bathroom does not meet building codes for any state. Mold on the walls in the shower. No this old building needs to meet the wrecking ball. The Holiday Inn the night before was a Palace compared to this dump More

We booked our Honeymoon actually in 2010 here, been coming to Southwest Harbor for years but there was no vacancy where we stay as it is a time share. So we stayed rightn on the water, Queen unit split level and just loved the balcony and cozyness of the room. Staff are so kind and it was just so relaxing.... More

The Boothbay Harbor Inn is a relatively old property built perhaps in the 1960's or 1970's. The exterior is somewhat institutional-looking, but the look is lifted through the use of flowering plants in tubs and hanging baskets on the balconies. the rooms are clean and inviting and the hotel has easy access to the footbridge and everything in the downtown area. The restaurant is nice too, lovely view, wonderful food and the piano player provides great ambiance! More

Nothing special. Needs some upgrades as the age of the facility shows. Very clean, decent price and spectacular location. I wouldn't recommend but I wouldn't not recommend either. More
