We spent 4 days and enjoyed excellent breakfasts, a comfortable room, good advice from Michael and Susan for places to go and things to do. So close to town, it was easy to just park the car and not move it unless I wanted to do some out of town exploring.

Lovely bed and breakfast spot, wonderful place to let go of the business stress and unwind. Comfortable rooms, beautiful views of the harbor area. For a nice, quiet escape this is a tastefully managed property, near to the harbor activities yet secluded enough for a delightful rest. The hosts were perfect and the decks were unbelievable! Roomd were classic and the fireplace was a perfect touch! Close to town too. My husband even left his wallet and sue, the innkeeper, was nice enough to ups it home to us in Boston. I would definitely recommend.

We had a perfect weekend away in a real first class B & B. Fantastic hosts,incredible room & deck views, marvelous service, located in the heart of the area. Can't wait to go back and even going to give a stay as a gift.

Friendly welcome, this inn is in a perfect position just off the harbour so quiet, pretty rooms and a good breakfast. I loved the selection of teas and the cosy sitting room. Good atmosphere and Susan was very helpful in planning my visit.

Welch House was just what we were looking for after a long Vermont winter. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable, we slept well. A nice old house with charming tiny rooms. I would say the charme balanced the very small size and the coldness of the bathroom. I loved the squeaking wooden floorsand the steep stairs but more than everything I loved the breakfast choice and those wonderful blueberry muffins!! The best ones!
