Really charming and comfortable. We felt very welcome. Saundra took great care of us, so friendly and helpful! We stayed in the Joshua Chamberlain room and had an adjacent sitting room and bathroom (shared, although we were the only visitors that night). All very clean, roomy and inviting. Like staying at someone's house--someone who is eager to make sure you... More

There very few B and B's in the Brewer-Bangor area of Maine. We stayed while on vacation. Sandra, the innkeeper, was terrific. The Inn is spotless, the breakfasts yummy, and the location quiet. We were so very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at this lovely inn. It was spotlessly clean, wonderfully decorated, and close to the Bangor mega shopping area. We rented the Chamberain Suite, which includes the Josh Chamberlain room, the Welcome Room, a very large private bath, and a sitting room. It was very reasonably priced and came with delicious breakfasts each morning. The host, Saundra, was... More

First time in bangor. Comfortable stay at F/H inn. Saundra is just a wonderful person. Her breakfasts are truly amazing. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet, simple few days of peace and tranquility. Proves that you can spend a few days without tv!!! Met a very nice young couple from North Carolina who were engaged at F/H inn,... More

Lovely decoration, and very interesting Saundra is a perfect hostess. Charming and very helpful. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. I left items and Saundar sent back onto me at... More

We booked the Fiddlehead Inn at the last minute, but Saundra the Innkeeper had everything prepared and ready for us when we arrived. The decoration and style of the house is marvelous, and added greatly to our New England experience. The vegetarian omelette and home made muffins breakfast rounded up our stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Fiddlehead B&B for one night. It has been a very nice experience. Beautiful room, very clean, very confortable. Saundra made us feel at home and prepared a delicious gluten free breakfast : scones, fruits and cheese omelet . What a treat! We were very lucky to have the opportunity to sleep in that... More

Just across the river from Bangor, the Fiddlehead is a great place for a relaxing, comfortable, and interesting stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with attention to even the smallest details. The breakfast was tasty, and Saundra joined us to tell the history of the house and how she painstakingly renovated each room. We also had a lovely walk through... More

My husband and I prefer to stay in B&Bs wherever we go, so we have experienced many "anti-hotels" over the years. We're just sorry that we didn't learn about the Fiddlehead Inn sooner since we often visit relatives in the Bangor area. Saundra Haley's cozy, well-appointed, and welcoming Victorian home has recently been placed quite near the top of our... More
