We had the most clean and spacious room with a large updated bathroom, and best of all, we were on the ground floor directly over a lazy river full of ducks! When you open the shutters you're treated to a view of a gorgeous little foot bridge, beautiful flowers and foliage, and best of all, quacking mallards! Instant alarm clock!... More

Clean room at reasonable rate and can't argue with the location if you want to stay downtown. They used to include breakfast next door at the bagel place in the room rate but the prices there are very reasonable. Though I must say that I splurged on blueberry pancakes at the Marriner Restaurant on Mian St instead. You can't go... More

We stayed here only one night on our trip thru Main - very lovely hotel. Room was excellent the the manager was very helpful. We had a lovely room. The hotel was not full so we were given a bigger room! Convenient to walking about which we liked. We would stay here again. Love Trip Advisor..... More

We were in Room 9 and found it to be very utilitarian. It is one of the smallest room. The room is slanted, so we had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed. The AC is loud. This place has much nicer rooms than this one. They no longer offer any type of breakfast and there... More

My husband and I recently stayed here in conjunction with a Road Scholar workshop and were so pleased by the hospitality of the staff and the best proximity to downtown. The Bagel Cafe is just right next door and downtown is just steps away. The Common Room downstairs was so handy, especially for the group of 18 of us, to... More

We recently stayed a few nights at the Inn at Camden Place. It is a great find, great location, huge rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The "local ducks" are a great wake up call in the morning! We also recommend a sunset cruise on the schooner - Appledore. Beautiful town, great food and friendly people. More

My husband and I stayed here last year over Thanksgiving (after previously staying at Lord Camden Inn) and we really loved it so we returned again last weekend for a quick escape. It is true that it is simple and without any frills but the hotel is immaculate, people are wonderful, location fantastic, parking so convenient, and the rooms are... More

After not having been to Maine in 15 years, and then only camping, we were a bit nervous about picking a hotel in Camden Maine. After reading the reviews on here and other places, we picked The Inn at Camden Place. We were thrilled with this hotel. It was very clean, the room was huge, the people treated us like... More

The Inn at Camden Place is a bit of a hybrid inn-boutique hotel. It's a very basic inn, without all the amenities of a hotel or bed and breakfast, but still had a small, charming feeling. We enjoyed chatting with the inn keeper, Judy, and didn't have any problems, despite the desk only being staffed from 8am-8pm. Our room was... More

My husband & I were looking for some quiet time after a 3 day wedding of our son in Boothbay Harbor. We booked The Inn @ Camden Place at the last minute. When we pulled up I wasn't sure what to expect but the minute we started speaking to Judy at the desk I knew this was the place to... More
