This was a great campground. It was nice and clean and the people were so nice. My husband got covid and we needed to stay for another 2 days so he could rest. They were very helpful and let us stay on our site for an extra 2 days until my husband could travel. We would definitely stay here again.

This is such a nice park. The people are wonderful. The park is clean, the bathrooms are spotless. There was a potluck supper on Thursday night. And an ice cream social on Saturday night. The ice cream was soooo good. They have an enclosed dog park that our dogs loved. They have outdoor games for kids and adults. This is a campground you want to come back to again and again. It is within a close driving range to lots of things to do in Bangor without any city traffic or noise.

Found this park through workamper. It is the nicest rv park we have found in our travels. The sites are wide and long, and flat with gravel surfaces, with green spaces between. The park in general has beautiful flowers, and trees throughout, which are mowed and trimmed on a regular basis. There are two laundromats and restroom areas with showers, all are kept spotless. In our stay events were held in the Activity Center on a regular basis, Trivia, poker, pot luck dinner, and ice cream socials to mention just a few. The personal at Pumpkin Patch are friendly, helpful and eager for you to enjoy your stay. Carol and Gilles go out of their way to give excellent customer service, and keep the park humming along. Lastly a certified rv technician in on site. Bob did some work on my rv while I was there, everything was done professionally and at a fair price. Overall the only 5 star rv park we have ran across!

This is a really nice rv park. It is well maintained with spacious sites. The staff was very welcoming and the hook-ups were great. There are various activities around the park to keep the family busy. Diffently would revisit if in the area.

We arrived tired after several days of one night stays in our RV driving from Florida. We were greeted by a friendly staff and were shown our spot. After hooking up, we took a relaxing stroll in the small park with beautiful, well-cared for gardens. I took several pictures of the flowers and bees enjoying the plants as much as I did. There was a terrific, fenced in dog run with lush green grass, which our little dog loved. Sorry to say, I had to miss the Tuesday night Trivia. I heard it was fun. Next time we are up this way, Pumpkin Patch is on the agenda.

Short stay here before we head across the northern border. Great for big rigs and there were plenty here when we rolled in. The pull through we had was plenty long enough for our 44’ motor home and full sized pickup. Roads were silt and gravel well graded/maintained. Sites gravel mostly level with picnic table and good space between sites. Friendly staff. The office has a few RV supplies and other items for sale as well as literature on things to see and do in the area. Yard area has yard games. There is a laundry area and bathhouse but we did not visit or use either. Quiet area but close to grocery and other stores. Would stay again.

We joined Yankee RV tours here for a 30 day Canadian Maritime tour with our RV. The campsite is quite large and can accommodate many RV’s, tents and trailers of all sizes. There are 22 RVs in our group ranging from 20’ to 45’ and all spots were large. The grounds were clean with hot & clean showers. Playground for children and dog walk. Very friendly staff, a pleasure to stay here.

Such a nice place to stay if visiting Bangor and the area! Although there is no playground or pool, my kids enjoyed the openness of the RV Park. We were specifically looking for an RV park with less trees to avoid ticks and bugs. The sites are spacious and level. Staff was really helpful. I had documents to print before we moved on to Canada and they took care of it for me. I work remotely and like to find spots with WIFI away from the RV to spread out. Their activity center was the perfect fit with comfortable indoor tables and plenty of outlets. Laundry was decent, but only two washers and dryers. One dryer was not working at the time. If you are a Stephen King fan, be sure to book a tour with SK Tours!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I am sorry you had trouble with the dryer in the back laundry the drum sticks sometimes and if you move it it starts. you must not have notice that we also have a large laundry room at the front of the park with four washers and six dryers. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and hope you return. Safe travels!

After having spent a couple of months in two different family-friendly RV parks, we found Pumpkin Patch RV Park to be a WONDERFULLY QUIET respite…definitely geared more for adults, as there is no pool or other activities toward which families with children gravitate. (There is a grassy play area with ladder toss and cornhole.) Check-in was efficiently accomplished by friendly staff - we were escorted to our site by a staff member; the easily-navigable roads and wide, level sites within the park are gravel. Sites include a picnic table and are nicely spaced, with grass between. Although some sites are fairly tree-covered, most will allow the use of a roof-mounted satellite. We requested a site with no tree cover, so we could use our satellite, and were graciously accommodated. There is a group meeting center (we enjoyed a couple of ice-cream socials), two laundry facilities, restrooms/showers, and a dog exercise area within the park. Located at the entrance of the park is a restaurant, which at the time of our stay was almost completed and soon to open. While staying at Pumpkin Patch, we visited Acadia National Park and Bangor, Maine. Don’t miss the Cole Land Transportation Museum while in Bangor. Definitely a hidden gem!
