My husband and I typically take tropical vacations in the winter. This year, we're expecting a baby and decided to save some $$ and vacation in our own state. We reserved a cabin at Mountainview Resort and had a great relaxing vacation. Was it cold, yes, but we knew that before going and made the best of it. The cabin... More

I am a timeshare owner here since 1998 and still love coming here for the peace and quiet. Life has gotten so hectic it's nice to know there is still a place like this to go to help me unwind. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Comfortable cabins and condo units as well. In town Jackman offers a local... More

We staIyed in Unit #5. A one bedroom unit/sleeps 4. This unit was clean! The decor was a bit dated in style but new. Beadboard on walls, odd shaped bathroom. Bedroom was decent size and only held a queen size bed. We prefer a king. The views outside our unit were beautiful. the foliage and mountains. We also had an... More

We have stayed many too many places through the years to count, but only a few do I ever say"I can't wait to go back" and this is one of them. This is no luxury resort by any means, so if that is what your looking for, keep on looking because this place isn't for you. What it is though... More

We had flown into Boston and stayed one night in Portland. The next morning we tool our 3 hour drive to Jackman. We had called the resort prior to our visit and asked where the closet Walmart was to buy groceries for our stay for the week. They had said the closest one was in Skowhegan on the way up... More

The cabin is beautiful. we stayed in #23. No complaints.. nicely furnished..spacious, clean, huge rooms. No wi-fi but the main lodge does have it. The resort is in bad need of landscaping but the cabin is great

No matter what season you visit, the scenery is just outstanding. Lots of wildlife and back roads to explore. Indoor pool could be warmer; the hot tub is, well, hot. Everything you need to cook with, or travel into "downtown" Jackman and check out Mama Bear's or Schmooses menus. Awesome pizza at Moose Mart! Friendly and accommodating folks here at... More
