“Good value”

First time at the Inn. Nice place, very clean, nice buffet breakfast. Shower water temp kept changing while taking shower, so had to be careful about that. Riverside rooms provide a nice view of the river and Orono village. 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk to UMaine Visitors Center. 5 minute walk across the bridge to Orono Village.

“BEST EVER”

I am hesitant to write this review because I don't want the place filled up when I go to book my next visit - lol, lol But - GREAT PLACE - I loved being close to UMaine and on the river was an extra treat. Will definitely stay there every time I can when visiting my son:) Terri M

This hotel does upgrades and renovations every few months it seems like! It has a nice feel to it, reasonable rates, and friendly staff. Probably the best breakfast spread I have ever seen at a hotel too.

“University Inn is a pleasant stay”

We have stayed at the University Inn on 2 occasions over the past six months. It is pleasant and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our last visit saw the delivery of microwave ovens, refrigerators and coffee pots ready to be installed in every room. Looking forward to our next visit:)

“Very convenient to UMaine”

We've been staying here whenever we visit our daughter at UMaine. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You can walk to the town for dinner or to visit the beautiful campus. “Great service”

Enjoyed our stay here. Yes, room is slightly dated and hotel is smallish, but the desk clerks are extremely helpful and kind. The maids were nice and we liked the breakfast room in the basement. You can watch the news on a big screen and the scrambled eggs were nice. My son liked the waffles which were offered with strawberries... More

“It's fine”

This hotel is ok if a little dated in places. It is clean and convenient with regards to university of Maine. My main problem was breakfast. There was lots of little fruit flies on the bagels, not v tastey sausages or eggs which were not v appealing. Skip breakfast altogether. Otherwise fine, big rooms

We came up to the hotel to check out the University of Maine with our daughter and her friend who are both admitted students for 2013. “Wonderful help from Inn staff”

We are very grateful to the Inn staff for accommodating our airline delay and also for cleaning off the 13-inch snowfall from our rental car and digging it out without even being asked! Lovely views of the river. We are looking forward to coming back.

“University Inn is a great place to stay”

Great place to stay. The view of the river is awesome!! I wish I had had time to go kayaking. Have stayed here for the past few years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. It is a nice walk to downtown Orono. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Orono area. Sharon S.
