My husband and I stayed in cabin #6 in October, 2012. It was a great stay. The cabin was perfect. It has a nice large screened in porch facing the water, it was very private and not crowded when we were there, like we had the place to ourselves. There is a little kitchen with everything you need, fridge, microwave,... More

I highly recommend the Hunter Cove cabins for a good weekend getaway. My friends and I went there for a long weekend and it was a nice, clean and well maintained little cozy cabin. The hosts were helpful and welcoming and everything was amazing. The view was also awesome, we were right on the lake. There is a fire place... More

I highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing vacation to rent a cabin at Hunter Cove. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. The dock has chairs and easy access to the lake for swimming and boating. There are picnic tables and grills available for having a meal outside during a nice summer evening. The screened porch is a nice asset where... More

We've just returned from a three week holiday in Maine and Hunter Cove was the highlight of our holiday. The cabins are clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Our 11 year old loved sleeping in the loft! The lake is fabulous for swimming - clean and safe- and there were canoes, kayaks and a row boat for the use of the guests.... More

The cabins are clean and comfortable as well as stocked with all your needs. Chris and Ralph are great. The views and docks on the lake are second to none. The town is only a few miles away, so stocking up on food, etc is very easy. There are plenty of places to dine out if that is what you... More

We have stayed at numerous cabins on Maine's Lakes, but this is the best of the best. The cabins are fully equipped with all the necessary items for preparing snacks to full meals. The cabins are very comfortably furnished and SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. There is no question why Down East July,2011 named it the Best Lake Retreat. Our most recent stay... More

We have enjoyed staying at Hunter Cove Cabins for many years. Owners Chris and Ralph are very personable and extremely attentive to their guests' needs and the maintenance of their grounds, which are immaculately-kept and very welcoming. The cabins are awesome! They are extremely clean, roomy, supplied with just about anything you could possibly need, and have a very homey,... More

I used to go to Hunter Cove as a kid, but it's been a while since I've been as an adult. The cabins are just as remembered...they are stocked with everything we needed (from soaps to a toaster to a corkscrew, and more) and there was plenty of room for three of us on a girls weekend. We spent each... More
