Checked into this ultimate tourist trap one spring night around 10 PM. Showered and went to sleep. Around 1 AM a party erupted in the next room. Called the desk and asked if they could quiet them down or move me. This is actually what the desk clerk said,"Sorry, that room belongs to the house band. They need some time... More

I find this review very strange. I am trying to figure out why this review was written a year after your stay with us. We are a seasonal property opened from the end of June to October and many things with your review don't add up. We do not and never have had a "house band" You also stated you... More

We stay at this inn for about a week every time we visit Rockland, which is at least once or twice a year (We used to stay at the local Bed and Breakfast inns, which were wonderful, but can be a bit pricey for week-long stays). For the price, you get a clean room, great customer service and a nice... More

I have stayed in Navigator Motor Inn in August of 2012. The room was convenient, clean. The noise level was all right, even though it is close to the major road. Everything was functioning just fine. The staff was very helpful. This place is steps away from all that Rockland has to offer. It is also across the street from... More

My husband and I stayed 1 night in September while roadtripping. We arrived fairly late in the evening and chose Navigator as it was within walking distance to some restaurants. The room they offered was c.$75 + tax, spacious, and contained 2 double beds. There was even a little balcony. My only issue was the bad cheesy feet smell in... More

We stayed here for a few nights for a friend's wedding. The room was a good size (we had the "mini suite"), but it was pretty out-dated. Not sure if we'd stay again. Front desk was friendly, however we didn't ask for much.

Room size outstanding, nice view, after that it is all down hill. RUG IS VERY DIRTY. I kept deck door open while I was in room because the smell was so bad. It is sad because you cannot beat the location.

I just recently stayed at this hotel and can not believe the negative reviews that I read prior to my stay. The location is everything you can want, across from the ferry, fantastic shopping in a quaint town, restuarants, all within walking distance.. The hotel itself is somewhat dated but that makes it unique, the staff is great, the room... More

I stayed in a "no view room" which is s few feet below street level with hedges in front and cheaper than floors above (Room 104). This hotel is a dump, horrible, and dirty. The bed spreads are the old polyester kind (we know from news programs using blacklights why good hotels replaced these a long time ago), the two... More

Don't stay here. Our first room was dark, cramped, and smelled awful. We turned on all the lights and still felt like we couldn't see. It might not have been actually dirty but the dark light and bad smell sure made it seem like it was. When we asked to move to a different room, the clerk moved us without... More

Fairly pricy for what you get. Here's what you don't get: in-room WI-FI, pens, pads, enough towels, a hair-dryer. You DO get very hot water in the room, a great view of Penobscot Bay. The Granite Inn, next door (which was full) would have been a better bet...and you get a really good breakfast. I have stayed at the "Nav"... More
