We just finished a ski weekend in Rumford and had an amazing stay at the Boardwalk Inn. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. The rooms themselves are spacious, clean and updated. We were able to stay here for two nights and it was the best hotel/ bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at. Here are a few highlights: radiant... More

We found this place after searching and searching for a place to stay for an unplanned trip to ski SR. Since in my opinion SR is outrageous to stay and has ridiculous pricing structure I was very happy to find the Boardwalk. The place was immaculate and our hosts were attentive and helpful. We got one of the rooms up... More

I have stayed at the Boardwalk several times over the years but this is the first time I have reviewed it. It’s owned by Gerry and Joline who both happen to be excellent hosts. To say that they go above and beyond doesn’t begin to describe their hospitality. The Boardwalk is unlike a traditional B&B in that breakfast is already... More

So glad that we found this amazing B&B. Have never seen a more organized and stylish B&B. Joline greeted us by name and was very cordial. The outside was clean and inviting. Our room was immaculate and furnished with quality oak bedroom furniture. The dining set was modern and the decor tastefully finished. Talk about a perfect set-up. Our continental... More

We stayed here for two nights in June 2012 and LOVED it!! The staff was kind and polite, the owner gave us a tour, making us feel comfortable, as well as made us feel "at home" there. The suite was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh fruit, different kinds of cereal, homemade granola, fresh brewed coffee, (a REAL... More

Holy granola. The hostesses homemade granola was amazing and was enough to.serve as a little treat for a couple days after I left. The breakfast was continental style but ample and she even set the coffeemaker to brew about 30min before I had to leave that morning! My room was clean and cozy. Felt like home!

My family stayed here for 2 nights at the end of April. The owners greeted us immediately and were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very neat and clean and had a nice kitchenette. The room was very large and homey. They leave a nice breakfast in the room for you, which includes coffee(coffeemaker is programed to come on... More

Breakfast is food left in your room the day before: pastry, cereal, fruit and a coffee maker. The room itself is fine and the price is right, but didn't seem like a B&B.

Stayed here for several nights while in Maine for a big family reunion. Innkeepers were very welcoming and helpful when needed. Otherwise, one was left alone to come and go. Our space was not your typical B&B - we had a large 2 bedroom suite on the second floor complete with a very large bathroom, sitting area and fully equipped... More
