We have been coming to Cranberry Hill Inn for the last two years and it has become one of our favorite parts of our trip to Maine. Jerry and Patti are amazing hosts and always have new ideas of what we should do to explore the island. They are so kind and welcoming and they always make us feel at... More

Room and private bath were very clean, warmly decorated, and spacious. Patti and Jerry were terrific hosts and gave us helpful tips to maximize our stay on the quiet side of Acadia. Breakfast was delicious--great pumpkin muffins and spinach quiche. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone, but especially to anyone who wants to avoid the busier atmosphere of... More

We spent four nights on Mount Desert Island (MDI) in mid September, three in Bar Harbor and one in Southwest Harbor at the Cranberry Hill Inn. Compared to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor (on the "quiet side" of MDI) is more relaxed and less touristy--though still with plenty of great things to see and do. Our room in the Cranberry Hill... We have stayed here 4 times over the last 4 years and this B&B is fantastic. Every time Patti and Jerry have treated us very well and we have loved the breakfast too. The first year we had some trouble on our trip but found Patti very accomidating to our needs. They went beyond what was required to help us... More

Enjoyed our one-night stay. Our room was clean and spacious with a shared deck, perfect for relaxing. Patti and Jerry are gracious hosts and made us feel welcome from check-in through departure. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend this inn to anyone visiting Southwest Harbor.

Our family spent a wonderful night here last week. The inn was charming, and our rooms were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was absolutely gourmet and Patti, the owner, was welcoming and friendly. This west side of Mt. Desert Island was much less crowded on Labor Day weekend than the Bar Harbor side, yet there were 2 excellent restaurants... More

We spent two nights at the Cranberry Hill Inn. The room was comfortable, spacious, very clean and enjoyed the harbor views from the deck. Breakfast was perfect, a nice variety, always yummy. Patti is a very gracious hostess not to mention how hard working she is! It was the perfect way to start our vacation in Maine. See you next... More

This place is fantastic. The owner could not have been more helpful- gave us good recommendations on dinner, as it was our first time there. With great suggestions for lobster and wine, we took her up on both suggestions which were fantastic. There were cookies and tea out all afternoon- awesome! The room was beautiful, clean and great. We stayed... More

Patti and Jerry were so good to us and the Inn is absolutely immaculate and beautiful. Patti's breakfasts were such a treat compared to what we are used to at other bed & breakfasts. The Inn itself is situated in a lovely spot right on the harbor with a beautiful view of the water and lovely garden. It's walking distance... More

We loved this BandB! My wife and I found it walking around Southwest Harbor. We had planned to stay in Bar Harbor but almost as soon as we walked in we fell in love and didn't consider moving on. It is was an old sea captain's home from the 1800's on a quaint little lane just off the main street... More
