Our foliage trip was planned very carefully to allow us one night in each of three towns between Vermont and Maine. We had no issues staying one night in any other place. When I spoke to the reservation agent on the phone I was very clear about staying only one night. I was not informed of a two-night minimum at... More

We booked this place based on the fact that we could get a last minute pet friendly room on Lake Sebago. What they failed to mention is that they do not allow you to leave your pet unattended in the room. As most pet owners are aware - you cannot bring your pet with you to dinner or to the... More

We stayed in the lodge and found it to be clean but dated. It was sort of like going back to the 1950"s. A basic continental breakfast was provided (cereal in styrofoam bowls, etc). The cottages looked like they might be kind of nice, though very close together. There are 2 canoes and 2 sit-on-top kayaks for guests to use.... More

Boy, let me tell you...finding affordable lodging in this area of the country is a challenge in the summertime even if you start your search months in advance! We actually stumbled upon the Sebago Lake Lodge quite by accident while looking online. We figured that there must be something wrong with it if we hadn't seen it after dozens of... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge very much. Debra, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the views from the cottages are truly beautiful. Exploring the lake in the free canoes and kayaks was great fun. The cottages themselves have everything you need for a pleasurable stay.

Very, very pleased with our stay in the Guest House at Sebago Lake Lodge. Beautiful, peaceful, relaxed, casual. Just 30 minutes from Portland, and close to Sebago Lake Sate Park. I loved our room with a huge screened porch overlooking the lake, free access to canoes and kayaks, welcoming staff. Sunday afternoon/evening the Lake was quite crowded with power boats... More

Sebago Lake Lodge is wonderful, whether you stay in one of the beautiful (but affordable) cottages right on the lake, or in one of five charming rooms in the lodge. We enjoy having access to kayaks, canoes, and a lovely area for swimming, as well as charcoal grills and lounge chairs outside for relaxing. The sunsets over the mountains are... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in one of the cottages for an entire week. My wife was taking a week-long course at nearby Saint Joseph's College and I had marine related work in Portland and Freeport (both approximately 25 minutes away). Having direct access to Sebago Lake via kayak and canoe (courtesy) made my week special.... More

Love this place!!! Me and my husband have been going here for years. It's right on the lake, very clean and you can watch the boats come in all day long. Very relaxing yet It's close to everything. They are dog friendly and Deb the owner is great. Very accomadating. Can't wait to go back.

Located right on the throughway into the larger part of Sebago Lake, this location is a haven for a boat lover! Two of my best friends and I stayed in the Pine's cottage for a "girls weekend" and had a blast. The cottage was clean, stocked and well taken care of with a perfect view of the water and activity.... More
