We thought we had a good deal for a nice quiet place in Maine. WRONG! They wanted to charge more for a credit card so had to pay cash. Found out later that the hot water heater's pilot was out, so no hot shower! Had to wait an hour for Noman Bates to arrive and re-light the hot water heater....

My family and I ventured north - way north, past the turn in Ellsworth for Acadia and kept on going another hour or so. We were headed for an unknown but had to go.
