My husband and I stayed for one night at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall at the end of our trip to Maine. It is very nice B&B. We stayed in the Billard room which is on the first floor (there are a couple of steps down to it). It is spacious and feels out of the way from other rooms.... More

I felt compelled to write a review in response to the review posted by lily068. She obviously could not have stayed at the Inn at Tanglewood. My husband and I stayed at the Inn in May and found the Inkeepers most gracious. We have stayed at other B&B's and this was, by far, our most enjoyable. Su & Andy went... More

We had a wonderful night at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall. Su & Andy the hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Everyone that arrived with us enjoyed their rooms and had a great night's sleep. Breakfast topped off our stay. We all sat around the breakfast table and enjoyed the gourmet meal and chatted with the owners.... More

The inn is clean, comfortable, convenient, exceptionally charming, and refreshingly quiet, and the owners are friendly, helpful, great chefs, and very considerate. My girlfriend and I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to York! More

This place was such a find. I have been visiting York and Kennebunkport area for over two decades and never knew about this place until I ran across it searching online. It was sparkling clean and very affordable compared to similar places in Kennebunkport. Andy and Su, the innkeepers, were very friendly. Su made a wonderful quiche (wish I had... More

Our second stay at Tanglewood for our anniversary and Andy and Sue run a fantastic place. My wife loves it. Breakfast is decadent and the rooms very comfortable. You can't go wrong staying here. The pups love to play too so they'll entertain you at breakfast. More

My husband and I have been coming to the Ogunquit-York area for a number of years to celebrate our mid-winter anniversary. We happened upon this inn in a Google search and decided to take a try -- and we are so glad we did! We stayed on one of their 2-day packages. Sue and Andy are gracious and knowledgeable hosts,... My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Inn . We had a wonderful time -- it felt like we were away for a week!!! The Inn's location in York is perfect -- you are within a short drive to Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, Kittery and, of course, the beaches of York. The Innkeepers were friendly, knowledgable about the area and... More

I had read the reviews prior to booking, but my stay was totally unlike the reports on this site. This was my experience: The hosts were most ungracious and rude. The common areas of the inn were hot and not air conditioned. The small window air conditioners that were in your room were noisy and inefficient. The breakfast was inedible.... More

We welcome constructive helpful feedback, but it’s difficult to respond to a review that suddenly appears six months later with a mysterious identity profile that does not match any of our records. There simply was no Solo Traveler from California or any other state who stayed at this inn during July 2010. In fact, our ONLY Solo Traveler between Memorial... More
