If this hotel was cleaner it would be a good choice. It seems to have gone downhill lately. The hallway rugs are dirty and bathrooms had mold around bathtub, dirt in the corners. Guest room rug looked like a large portion around the edges was never vacuumed. The breakfast staff handled food with bare hands. I never ate there again.... more

This hotel has all the essentials of a great hotel. Its clean, quiet, everything works, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, a good breakfast, nice sized rooms, lots of channels of a big flat screen TV, and ample parking. I stayed here on a business trip and found it to be one of the nicest Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed at. The staff was great, and the room very clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was a treat too. If visitng in the Chestertown area, then I would definately recommend this hotel. more

My daughter and I stayed here on a recent visit to Washington College. The college itself is nearby, and the small street with the hotel is right near a large strip mall with stores and casual restaurants. The hotel is not walking distance to the "historic downtown", but we were told that pretty much closes up at night anyway. Parking... more

In Chestertown for a wedding. Spent only one weekend night here, but that night was very pleasant. Clean, comfortable, and upscale room. Very much worth the special price ($85) price. Hotel staff were friendly. more

I just returned from a two night stay and can highly recommend this property. It is relatively new and so in excellent shape. We spent one night at the Holiday Inn Express and we were very satisfied. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff along with a good breakfast. We would defintely stay here again when we are visiting the area in the furure. more
