Harris cove is located minutes from St. Michaels, Tilghman Island, Easton and Oxford. Towns as famous today for their warm southen style hospitality as they were in colonial times.Thank you for inquiring about our unique Bed ‘n’ boat Resort. Our vacation village is nestled in the heart of the cove of Harris Creek. Swans, duck, Heron and Egret are just a few of the wildlife that call our cove home. Bird watching has become an enjoyable past time of many of our guests. Artists and writers alike enjoy the scenic view, beautiful sunsets and relaxing atmosphere. Children can play along the bulkhead, fish and try their hand at crabbing off the pier. Everyone can relax on one of the many lounge chairs; enjoy a game of horseshoes or croquet. Crabbing can be a fun vacation experience for all. Steam your catch at our crab stations and feast in one of the screened in gazebos. Kayaks and pedal boating will add to a wonderful experience at Harris Cove.We have six individual cottages and two “cottage type” units. Five of the cottages are located on a picturesque driveway, Oyster Shell Lane. One is tucked away in the trees on the other side of our vacation village. Every unit is private and has a spectacular view of our Harris cove and the open waters of Harris Creek. All of our units are attractive, cozy and comfortable. They all have A/C, CATV and WIFI. Each unit has a BBQ grill and picnic table. The cottages are virtually identical aside from the Heron’s Neat and State Room which are often combined to accommodate up to seven people. The Heron’s Nest is a spacious, bright and airy suite. It contains a separate bedroom, private bath/shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a 20’x30’ great room with a panoramic view of the waterfront. Handsomely furnished throughout, it is a lovers’ hideaway. It will sleep a family with a queen sized bed, a futon, with room for an inflatable mattress. The oak dining table will seat 8. The Stateroom is a delight, with three walls of windows so one sees forever. It is decorated and equipped for a family of three. It has a queen bed and futon. There is no full kitchen however it does have a microwave, a dorm sized fridge, and the all important java pot and a small table. There is a private bathroom with shower and a private outside entrance. It is the perfect setting for a couple who like to dine out. The typical Harris Cove Cottage is a cozy one room efficiency with a private bathroom/shower. Each is attractively furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen area, sleeping area with a queen bed and futon and a dining area. (sleeps 4 - 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults) We supply all utensils, pots and pans. (Queen beds and double sized futons (pillows and blankets are provided) Excellent grocery and specialty stores are available in St. Michaels (an easy beautiful 4 mile dive) Adult beverages are also available every day in town. Bring your boat and explore over 100 miles of picturesque shoreline with numerous private, romantic nooks and crannies. We have our own boat ramp that can accommodate boat up to about 18’. The water is occasionally low and boats need to be put in and take out with the tide. No boat? No problem. We have 14’ and 16’ boat and motors to rent, but it is important to make a reservation if you want one. We supply all crabbing supplies, and sell chicken necks.Please be aware that we can not accommodate pets, but can suggest a local Kennel.
