I really enjoyed this place. It was a little like stepping back into the 70s with the wood-paneled walls and powder blue sink and toilet; but management maintains the property extremely well. We needed more towels and an iron and the front desk staff was quick to assist. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Hands down, the Vista offers the best accomodations to be had in Gloucester! The pricing is very reasonable, the rooms are immaculate, and the ocean view is spectacular! The staff is friendly, and knowledgable about the area. We will always choose the Vista to stay at on our trips to Gloucester/Rockport area

Great location. Nice beach nearby. Room had small kitchen and great view. Never had a mattress as hard as this one. The floor would have had the same softness. Otherwise, great. Nice area to sit outside. No elevator to second floor.

Spent a few days here and found it very pleasant, especially as we were traveling with our dog. Our room had a beautiful ocean view. It's close to a pleasant beach for walking the dog. The "breakfast" is disappointing, but everything else here is very good.
