The Kemble Inn is a special place. Taking a trip there is enough to give monasticism a bad name. It's what--in an ideal world--an inn should be. It's beautiful and peaceful, spacious and immaculate, and when you have the great fortune of meeting the phenomenal owner, Bosa, well, she embodies and reflects, in substance and in style, everything that is... more

The rooms were private, beautiful, quiet and exceptionally quiet and pristine. The owner is gracious and helpful and the place is glorious. Location is ideal. I recommend Kemble to everyone I know who vacations in the Berkshires. more

My sister & I spent a relaxing weekend here to get away from it all! This place was perfect - breathtaking scenery even in the winter. It is very centrally located to shopping , a spa & attractions. The innkeeper, Bosa, was wonderful, friendly and made us feel right at home. Our room was very clean and beautiful. I can't... more

My family traveled to the Lenox area for a weekend of skiing. We were two families traveling together. We had stayed at the Kemble Inn about 12 years ago and decided to return. Apparently the place is under new management and we couldn't have been happier. My sister-in-law and I decided to go check in the hotel early and leave... more

My family & I travelled to Lenox for the Thanksgiving holiday. We stayed in 3 rooms and for the most part of the stay enjoyed the inn all to ourselves! Each room was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean! Breakfast was served in the dining room and there was a delightful selection each morning. It's an incredible building that the innkeepers... more

Room was small to the point of being difficult to negotiate, and that was an upgraded Queen room, I can't imagine what the standard Queen would have been. I found the owner/staff to be on the cold side. There was an apology written somewhere about the peeling paint on the outside of the inn, saying that painting had been planned... more

As a repeat guest, I am never disappointed when I revisit the Kemble Inn. While the staff was repeatedly apologetic about the outside paint peeling (the extremely endlessly wet spring made it impossible to follow through on any of the targetted dates for the outside painting; resulting in the job not being able to be completed until the early fall),... more

We enjoyed The Kemble Inn immensely. Freshly repainted on the exterior - which is gracious and elegant - we entered to find the interior as much so. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious and, when the temperatures dipped, the hosts left us a note telling us how to adjust the... more

The Kemble Inn is the perfect setting to experience the rich history of Lenox, as it is itself a part of that history. The mansion is the former home of a 19th century Secretary of State and is located right downtown, but with stunning views of the mountains. It is the sort of place where Edith Wharton would have dined,... more

This was our 5th visit to the Kemble Inn. Our room, as were all we've ever stayed in, was very spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We love the elegance of staying in a "stately mansion," and enjoying cocktails on the back porch overlooking the sweeping grounds. The best part, though, was the gracious hospitality of the owner Bosa. Every... more
