We stayed here for 4 nights after staying 4 nights in the 5 star Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel in Boston. What a delight it was to arrive at 1830 Quince Tree House, overall it wins hands down!! It has everything you need for a wonderful stay. It gives value for money, attention to details, beautiful spacious rooms , fantastic breakfasts... More

We stayed for 3 nites last week and was impressed with Richards attentiveness . He was a pleasure to see everyday and recommended various things that tuned out to be great. The inn is situated right in the middle of a quiet town with a main street that's away from the busy highway. You can walk to the museums and... More

This was our second visit to the 1830 Quince Tree House and it was as delightful as the first time. We usually stay for at least a week. The rooms are well-maintained, and decorated with beauty and functionality. The innkeeper makes superb breakfasts, is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The inn is conveniently located within easy walking distance... More

I will start by saying that the beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were great. Three courses were served and they do ask you about allergies . . . upon arrival. What I was extremely disappointed with was the price and the advertised amenities. Upon arriving and seeing the suite, it did not look like the room advertised on... More

We are pleased to give the 1830 Quince Street House an excellent review. Seldom do we find such attention to detail and cleanliness. The house is interesting and one 'feels' as being back a few centuries. The Voden Room was very attractive and the bed was wonderful. No back ache here. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Richard is an... More

When I first arrived, I didn't have a high expectation because usually all B&B are all the same. But man, I was surprised! Richard, the owner, took us on a tour and showed us the cozy living room full of books, Dvds, sweet treats. He also serves liquour that's always on the table fever you wanna have a glass after... We recently stayed at the 18 30 Quince Tree House to celebrate my Birthday. We were the only guests that weekend to stay at the B&B so it felt like our own! Richard was a very accommodating host. His Breakfasts were outstanding and not the run of the mill breakfasts that we have had at other places. The room was... More

We had the Dr. Samuel Beale room-- which was 2 rooms. Home away from home, but better! A private sitting room full of books and a cozy bedroom with a big cushy bed and fireplace- relaxing living room with port and sherry to drink and snacks to eat at any time- what more can you ask for? Centrally located in... More
