We love this place! A short walk to beautiful Red River Beach. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and have cute pictures and other nice touches. The innkeeper always has an interesting story to share in her cozy office. Great pool!

We had a terrible stay here for 2 nights during my friend's wedding. The place is in bad shape and the staff extremely unfriendly and unaccomodating. I would not recommend to anyone. Never have I been so disappointed in a lodging! The beds are rock hard, the refrigerator was not plugged in, the room though clean had only soap and lacked any typical hotel amenities (i.e. shampoo, and perhaps an iron), and the medicine cabinet had begun to rust. The Coachman would be fine to stay if your were traveling in the 1950's. The rooms are musty and dated. The furniture and bathroom belong in another time zone. Classic Cape Cod motel in need of updating. There was a "no smoking" sign in the room but the smell in the room was quite strong even with the windows open.

Nice, quaint little lodge 1/2 mile from the beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the motel staff were very accomodating. Delicious pastries in the morning with coffee and ownership was always there with a smile. Will definately stay there again on my next trip to the cape!

Our stay there was ok. Friendly welcoming. Rooms are rather dated though. Paid $85, no wi-fi. Looking back I would have preffered driving back up to Orleans though to stay at the Skaket Motel again which had nicer rooms and a better rate at $63 inc wi-fi! Ok staying at the Coachman if need be.
