In the case of Chocksett Inn, you get a mixed bag: lady bug room mates (they are the cutest little things), empty soap canisters, rooms with thermostats set at 55 degrees in December, continental breakfasts items so stale that I suspect they will be there next time I stay, beds like army cots, and old, worn out 80's decor. I stayed in this hotel for only one night. During my stay, i had easily killed 35 lady bugs, no exageration. I couldnt even figure out how they were getting in because i checked to make sure the windows didnt have any cracks or holes. The room was average but nothing special. Overall i was dissapointed in my stay here.

They've clearly invested in the grounds and the banquet facility - time to upgrade the rooms. Furniture is dated. Bedspreads are at least 20 years old. We stayed for New Years weekend so we could get away from everything. The people at the inn were very pleasant. The cleaning staff came every morning and did a wonderful job. Very charming from the outside, but the rooms are very outdated, bed was old and small, and the room had a musty odor. The strangest was the soap and shampoo dispenser on the wall in the tub.
