Great value in the Saugatuck/Douglas. Everyone was very nice, the rooms were clean and decorated so wonderfully. Be aware though, the bed is a pillow top, very soft, if that is not your thing you will not sleep.

Beautifully restored motel minutes away from both downtown Douglas and Saugatuck and Oval beach. Right on Blue Star Highway the motel is very quiet and clean. The rooms have a small refrigerator and a microwave. This will definitely be a place we will stay at again.
Stayed with my adult daughter in a double room. Cute decor, very clean, comfy beds and good showers. Even though it's right on Blue Star highway it was very quiet. Very close to downtown Douglas & Saugatuck without being in the crowds. The gentlemen who run the motel are very friendly and gave us great dining recommendations. One ***tiny*** suggestion...

Well appointed room for the money Comfortable beds with reasonable linens. Very clean and quiet for sleep. Air conditioning very good. Lots of hot water. Only recommendations is for the owner to start the continental breakfast at 7am or make it an option. The day is half over by 9am. i never had food when there for the three days.
I found this motel on trip advisor and didn't have a reservation. My husband and i just decided to get away for a couple days! We had a corner room. It was adorable. The bed was comfortable and the whold place was so clean! There is even a small area to sit outside and relax. The room had a smal...

We walked into Saugatuck, MI every day and was able to walk to our favorite restaurant four times.....Everyday People Cafe. The room was large enough to feel comfortable. The bed has a pillow top mattress which made...

We found the Pines Motor Lodge rather late in our road trip-planning, but were excited about the character the property seemed to have based on online reviews.
The Pines Motor Lodge is very centrally located on the Blue Star Highway, but it is quiet. There's a church across the street, and a supermarket a little further down Blue Star. The...
