I recently stayed here - in December. My second stay and I highly recommend it. For the price, you can't beat it. Nice lobby, nice rooms and a bettter than average breakfast. Good location and the desk clerk will give you a coupon for a discount at a local restaurant. Seriously, for the price, you can't beat it.

This is your typical Econo Lodge. It's located along the main thoroughfare in Escanaba, so you hear much truck traffic throughout your stay. The facility was clean and pleasant. The hotel was quite good with a microwave, mini fridge. The bathroom was adequate and the bed comfortable. I did have trouble with the wireless Internet. It wouldn't work with my MacBook or iPad. It requires a confirmation input that did not come up with Safari. The breakfast was the normal fare.

$65 is high for this hotel, but lower considering the selection and higher rates in the UP. The hotel is showing age, but is clean and passable for a quick night's stay. Typical breakfast. Along hwy 2 not too far from downtown. Lower mid range hotel.

After Mom and Pop ran motels this was a nice change. Room was small but large enough for 2 people (even included a mini-fridge). Bathroom was large and included all the amenities. At $ 59.99 a night it's a steal!

If you are on the way to some where else, this property will work. For merely a sleep stop, the rooms are clean, the front desk staff friendly. The front desk was great ,this is the 3rd year I have stayed here the rooms need to be upgraded.,carpet was dirty and worn.The hallways do not have air.The TV need upgrading as they were getting darker and darker.No plugs for electronic.
