I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews. However, we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again when we are in the area. Dated, yes, but CLEAN, on the bay, excellent food, and great service. And, affordable. Our room was only $85. Our private balcony overlooked the bay. Be sure and try the stuffed mushroom appetizer!

This hotel is probably from the seventies. Since we were just traveling through we were only there one night. Rooms nice & clean. Guest only terrace facing the lake at sunrise is nice spot for morning coffee. Flat screen tv. Mattress was kind of hard. Cereal & muffins for breakfast. Good value for the money....and like I said....clean.

It's hard to find lodging other than motels up in the Escanaba/Gladstone area and Terrace Bay have the better location than the others right on the water.
