I worked in Kalamazoo during the Fall of 2011. The Kalamazoo Inn was a decent place to stay in a clean room. My friend and I stayed here 2 nights to attend a dog show and had 3 dogs with us. The overall area is a little questionable, but we were able to go for a walk around the neighborhood and see the nice parks and historic houses.
