Over from uk, stayed couple of nights in Michigan to see the scenery and the fall colours - amazing. The Riverside Inn has four rooms only and our stay was really comfortable, like a small suite with small sitting area. Room was fresh and clean. Downstairs the breakfast was served in the bar area and was very nice, if simple.... More

Beautiful setting for a romantic dinner. The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating to my food allergy. However service was somewhat lacking as my husband never had his water glass refilled and the server forgot to bring us our side order of very delicious beets. All in all a good experience and I will be back for... More

We spent one night here and were happy with the room and the location. We stayed in the Island Suite overlooking the river. We explored Fishtown and walked to the shops. Nice view of the river and great restaurant. The only downside was that the pillows were very uncomfortable and there were no tv's on the property. We are not... More

Dinner is absolutely outstanding...5 star quality with a great selection of spirits and wine. The location of this Inn is simply perfect, however overshadowed by the owner's lack of hospitality. The waitstaff, servers, Whitney the bartender and Clair the hostess were warm, welcoming, and truly wanted to make your stay memorable. The owner, Kate, was a little chilly, and made... More

Quaint, historic hotel. Service was outstanding. Location was great for walking around. Close to M-22. The room was clean. It was fortunate for me that the bed was SO COMFORTABLE, that I was able to fall asleep after I awoke from footsteps in the hall. The floors in the room were painted wood and quite creaky.

We had a delightful stay at the Riverside Inn and loved the town of Leland. Tom and Kate Sawyer went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible and we were not disappointed. The food in the dining romm was the best meal we had the whole trip and we would highly recommend it. Thanks for... More

Cute little place. Not much of a breakfast to speak of, and tiny room. We loved the bathrobes in each room.

We were in town for a wedding and decided to stay here. It is a small, charming inn. Beautiful place to go in the fall with all the leaves changing, and the charm of this inn really added to that experience. The room was comfortable, clean and quaint with romantic decor, but the walls are very thin - could hear... More
