We stayed as part of a tour group. We stayed in lovely clean room with comfortable bed. There was a TV (reception poor) and a kettle and cups for tea and coffee. The shower was lovely and hot. The views from the room are spectacular.

Over the years we have stayed at Mogodi Lodge several times. The lodge sits on the edge of a crevasse from where you may swing or foofi-slide out over the canyon. (Not me!) The gift shop is actually terrific, and now that we are home we wish we had purchased all of our gifts and curios there as the prices... More

On the picture it looks amazing, lodges above a waterfall. In reality you can't see or hear the waterfall because it's over the edge of the cliff. The view of the picture you see is when you stand on a cliff on the opposite side of the lodge. You can also abseil their, but it doesn't really look all that... More

"In reality you can't see or hear the waterfall because it's over the edge of the cliff. " and this is exactly what our picture shows, so you can see what you get, don't understand here disappointment, no one promise view over waterfall. The rest is even no worth responding on , client not happy, unfortunately can't satisfy everyone. More

This is the second time we have stayed at Mogodi, so that is clearly a recommendation. Our family party consisted of two families. We stayed in adjacent chalets and so we could share our breakfasts and braais together. The space and facilities are adequate and the price is reasonable. The rooms, lounge and bathroom surround the central kitchen and dining... More

Mogodi Lodge accommodation is basic, but reasonable with all the amenities you will need. Perfect for a faimly of four. We used Mogodi as base to explore the region's attractions and only overnight there. We did not use the reastaurant, but rather ate out in town. Be sure to visit the Bikers Pub next to the Graskop Hotel (name slipped... More

In November 2010, we stayed for three nights in the family-run Mogodi Lodge in Graskop. It was our third visit in ten years and things hadn't changed a lot. We stayed in a two bedroom lodge. The accommodation is rather basic, but clean and in November cheap. Unfortunately, it rained a lot in the highfield during our stay, so we... More

Location was fine - just outside centre of Graskop. Views over the gorge and waterfall were not as promised - chalet was too far away and too low down. There are no pictures of the chalets and it's not surprising - nasty yellow brick reminiscent of an old fashioned holiday camp. Inside, the furniture was all dark wood, and the... More
